An abstract of the following acts of Parliament, passed this session. Essentially necessary to be known by every person; but more expecially those concerned in trade and commerce; viz. I. An act for granting to His Majesty certain duties on waggons, wains, carts, &c. &c. II. Act for granting new stamp-duties on receipts, and also and Inland bills of exchange, promissory notes, &c. &c. III. Act for the register of burials, marriages, and births. IV. Act for granting several additional and new duties upon stamped vellum, parchment, and paper; and also for repealing certain exemptions from the stamp-duties. V. Act for venders of medicines to take out a licence, and imposing a certain duty on all medicines sold.

All sorts of wheel-carriage, improved. Wherein it is plainly made appear, that a much less than the usual draught of horses, &c. will be requir'd, in Waggons, Carts, Coaches, and all other Wheel Vehicles, as likewise all Water-Mills, Wind-Mills and Horse-Mills.
